Tangled Envelopes

I've been decorating my enveloped each time I send out a new ATC just for kicks. I use large white business envelopes and have at it.

A little Zentangle this time

I picked a zentangle swap this time, just to try it out. I used a stamp and embossed the flower design, then tangled the rest.

Envelope Swap

Envelope swap this month - 10 envelopes. Here they are...

ATC #2 - Chunky Pages

This is my first attempt at chunky pages. I joined this project on a whim and thought I'd give it a try. The themes the artist chose were Paris and Time. Paris I can do--so many choices, but Time was a hard one to visualize.

I used thick 4" x 4" cardboard and lines with a map of Paris on the front, and embossed the back using a script pattern. I like the mitered corners of the border. Then I used some pre-made chunky stickers with a Parisian theme.

On the back, I put an envelope and popped in a cutout of the Eiffel Tower.

And this is what I came up with for Time... timeline, spirals...

...time machines, and gears. On this side, I cut out some cool graphic art from Wired magazine (they have amazing art), mounted it on grunge board, and gave it some texture with an acrylic medium. I used Japanese Washi tape to line the edges.

First ATC

I just started getting back into my art studio after a 6 year hiatus. I joined an online ATC group to put some discipline into the process (nothing like a deadline to keep you honest). First theme: What is Science? This is what I came up with--"Measuring Nature"
